Marinated Brussel Sprouts

I'm doing something new this week... In light of one of my weekend purchases, I'm going to participate in Kim's Tasty Tuesday Party over at Forever Wherever!

I'm a big fan of marinated brussel sprouts. In fact, I could probably live off of these things. This most recent trip home to VA saw us going to numerous and sundry country stores where at one I stumbled upon Jake and Amos Sweet Marinated Brussel Sprouts! These things are to die for!! Check them out at Jake and Amos!

However, as good as these are, nothing tops my Nannie's old recipe! More sweet, not as spicy, a great compliment to any Spring/Summer cookout!

Nannie's Marinated Brussel Sprouts

2- 10 oz. Frozen Brussel Sprouts

1 cup Good Seasons Italian Dressing (prepared according to directions)

A Dash of salt

1 tsp. Dill Weed

Cook Brussel Sprouts according to package- do not overcook! Drain and put in plastic container. Add together remaining ingredients, pour over brussel sprouts and chill overnight. Lift from dressing to serving dish when ready.

Enjoy!!

Oh, I've always loved these, but my husband doesn't eat them. Then I end up never making them for myself. Thanks for the great recipe! I'll have to make them for company!
It's great to have you join us for Tasty Tuesday this week!

If I did brussel sprouts, I'd do these!! I am still traumatized from having to eat them as a child. I will pass this on to my mom, though! :-)
